Vastu Shastra is an ancient Hindu science of architecture. Each one of us needs a place to live happily with our family, i.e. called a home. There is a major difference between home and house. House is made of inanimate objects, home is made of human interaction, if a house does not provide mental peace, it is useless.\r\nBeautification and structural design are not the only things or rules which shall be followed while constructing a house. If a person spends a huge amount on a building and there is no mental satisfaction and progress, it is an incomplete structure. It results in auspiciousness and miseries. One who follows the basic principles of Vastu Shastra, in building as structure, can definitely get peace of mind and will definitely change his life style.\r\nThe universe, including our human body, comprises of five essential elements Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Sky. The principles of Vastu are predominantly based on these five elements in their order of appropriate proportions. Vastu principles mainly take into account, the magnetic field of the earth, the influence of the cosmos and other life forces exerting in the atmosphere.
